How Much Does House Cleaning Cost in Phoenix?
It’s the first question almost everyone asks, and the honest answer is “it depends.” That’s not a dodge. Two homes on the same street can take very different amounts of time to clean.
Here’s what actually drives the price of house cleaning in the Phoenix area, how we price ours, and how to get a quote you can trust.

What sets the price
1. Square footage
Size is the biggest factor, so it’s how we price. A 1,400 sq ft condo and a 3,800 sq ft home in Gilbert are completely different jobs, even if both have three bathrooms.
Some companies price by bedrooms and bathrooms. We used to look at it that way too, but square footage is more accurate. A “three-bedroom” can mean almost anything.
2. The type of clean
| Type of clean | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Standard / recurring | Keeping a home that’s already in good shape clean |
| Deep clean | A first visit, or a home that hasn’t had a thorough clean in a while |
| Move-in / move-out | Empty homes, inside cabinets, appliances and closets |
| Post-construction | Fine construction dust on every surface after a remodel or new build |
A deep cleaning costs more than a standard visit because it covers more: baseboards, ceiling fans, blinds, window sills, inside the microwave and a real scrub of the bathrooms. A move-out clean adds the inside of the oven, fridge, cabinets and drawers.
3. How often
A home cleaned every week or two stays in good shape, so each visit takes less time. For most larger homes, recurring visits cost less per visit than a one-time clean.
4. Condition
Pets, kids, a recent remodel or a few months without a cleaning all add time. That’s why the first visit is often a deep clean. It resets the home so every visit after that is quicker.
5. Add-ons
Things like the inside of the oven or fridge are priced separately, so you only pay for what you actually want done.
How we price at Haven
- Flat rate based on square footage, set before we arrive. No surprise bill.
- Add-ons listed separately, so you can see exactly what you’re paying for.
- Hourly is available at $60 per hour, per cleaner, if you’d rather have us focus on specific rooms or tasks.
- Homes over 5,000 sq ft get a custom quote, because the range is too wide to price from a form.
Supplies are included either way.
How to get an accurate quote
Give us three things and the quote will be close to what you pay:
- Your home’s square footage (it’s on Zillow or your county assessor listing if you’re not sure).
- The type of clean you want, or tell us when it was last cleaned top to bottom.
- Anything unusual: pets, a recent remodel, natural stone, a fridge that needs a full clean-out.
Be wary of any quote that’s dramatically lower than everyone else’s. It usually means the scope is smaller than you think, or the price changes once someone’s standing in your kitchen.
